Five years of The Human Plant

What does it mean to be human, and how are we different from plants? Turns out neither.
Join us in an exclusive interview with Krimson Jones, in commemoration of the zeitgeist behemoth art album’s five-year anniversary.

What led to The Human Plant?

It began with the Syrian war. I can’t say much more.

What is The Human Plant about?

The record is an awful ode of what happens when the human is exiled from redemption and left to deal with the upper principles of evil.

What are the upper principles of evil?

The upper principles of evil is the great enemy, which is us. In failing to opiate himself with sweet redemption, the human is obliged to face his true dull self.

«Roman» has been a fan favorite for quite some time. Can you tell us more about it?

That was my take on Roman Polanski’s life. It’s funny because when the album came out it flopped tremendously. Back then the LRI required external input for new releases so I ended up paying to some music critic for feedback. Of all the songs, he especially disliked «Roman». This is when we knew the outside factor was as irrelevant as a rock. After this incident, the LRI prohibited criticism over its products.

He disliked «Roman»?

I guess it didn’t had many Coca-Colas and Pink Floyds.

Is noji mena the sequel of The Human Plant?

Yes. People should be aware of this.

What does it mean to be human, and how are we different from plants?

So many oxymorons.
